Outage Cause: High winds and wind gusts have caused power outages as crews assess damage and downed wires. The Live Outage & Restoration Map pinpoints the 4002 meters without power in Aroostook County. Almost 25,000 are affected in service areas.

Outage Details: Emera Maine remains in full storm restoration mode, with more than 80 crews deployed today addressing downed wires, assessing damage, and restoring service to customers. Crews will continue to work safely and will be repositioned as restoration progresses to make repairs to bring the largest number of customers back online first, working toward smaller outages and more remote locations. Our crews are committed to working through the weekend to restore all of our customers affected by the storm. Emera Maine appreciates customers' patience as we work to get everyone back online.

Customers who use generators or alternate heating sources are reminded to ensure they are used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines at all times.
