People “From Away” Try To Pronounce Maine Town Names! [VIDEO]

It's always hilarious when people "from away" mispronounce the places that are the most familiar to us. Movoto Video sat down with six "west-coasters," and gave them a list of Maine towns to say. This was the result!

Some of the Maine towns that came up were Saco, Vinalhaven, Skowhegan, Isle au Haut, and Wytopitlock!

Before we make too much fun of these guys... let's admit it: we probably wouldn't know how to pronounce them if we weren't from 'round these parts!

Here's an even more interesting question... How did our towns get their names? Some are named after people, some are named after places, and then there's "Skowhegan!"
