Miley Cyrus Says Her Mom Got Her Back Into Weed
Miley Cyrus made headlines in May 2017 when she told Billboard she had stopped smoking weed, to focus on then-new album Younger Now. Marijuana had become part of Miley's brand, so it was big news at the time that she was taking a break from the green.
Well, it seems she's smoking weed again, all thanks to... her mom?
In a new interview with The Sun, Miley says it was her mother, Tish Cyrus, who got her back into smoking weed, but not as often as she used to enjoy the herbal refreshments. “My mum got me back on it. When I'm just working I don’t think I function at my highest, most intelligent, most being-able-to-be-as-aware-and- as-present, so I don’t smoke when I work," Cyrus told the UK outlet while in London.
Miley also revealed she and "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" collaborator Mark Ronson "toke a little. Every now and then, you know."
Mark and Miley were in England this past weekend promoting their new hit collaboration with a surprise acoustic performance at famous club G-A-Y.
As of Monday (December 10), Miley and Mark are already in New York City for a slew of promo appearances for "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart." The duo will hit radio stations, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (December 13) and Saturday Night Live for a performance this Saturday (December 15).
"Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" is currently steady in the top 10 on the iTunes global chart.
