Police have arrested a suspect in connection with an armed robbery on the weekend in Saint-Antoine, New Brunswick.

According to Cpl Mario Maillet of the Richibucto RCMP, a man wearing a ski mask and armed with a machete entered the Saint-Antoine Variety at approximately 9 o'clock Saturday night.

Police say the man demanded cash from the clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of money.  No one was injured during the robbery.

RCMP arrested a 34-year-old Saint-Antoine man on Sunday afternoon.  He is to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Monday to face charges in connection with the crime.
