The RCMP say that volunteer search crews located 41-year-old Kevin Boudreau Wednesday afternoon on a snowmobile trail  about 30 miles west of Fredericton.

An extensive air and ground search had been underway around-the-clock since Boudreau was reported missing Saturday morning. He was last seen around 2 p.m. Friday. Police believed he took an ATV from a camp off Route 105 in Bear Island and got stuck in the woods.

Boudreau told rescuers he was thirsty but appeared unharmed. He was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation.

Sgt. Joel Saule of the Oromocto detachment issued a statement saying, "The RCMP would like to thank Ground Search and Rescue personnel from New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, along with Kingsclear and Keswick area fire departments, the Red Cross, the New Brunswick Department of Public Safety and local volunteers for their help."
