Man Arrested for Murder after Body Found Outside Home in Maine
A 52-year-old man was arrested for Murder Saturday after a body was found outside a residence on Bartlett Street in Gardiner.
Man Charged with Murder after Dead Body Found
The Maine State Police said Gregory Fisher from South Gardiner was taken into custody and charged with Murder.
Maine State Police Investigating
The body was discovered around 3:41 on Friday during a welfare check by Gardiner Police. The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central and the Maine State Police Evidence Recovery Team are investigating.
Death Ruled Homicide by Blunt Force Trauma
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta did an autopsy Saturday and ruled the cause of death to be blunt force trauma and manner of death was homicide. The victim's identity has not been released.

Ongoing Investigation
Fisher was taken to the Kennebec County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
