Incident Type: CRIMINAL MISCHIEF Date: 10/24/2016 Town: Hodgdon Trooper: Tr. Sylvia Brief Synopsis: Tr. Sylvia investigated a criminal mischief complaint in which rocks were thrown at a mobile home. This is the second time this has happened, and there was damage done to the home. The investigation is ongoing.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 10/27/2016 Town: Carmel Trooper: Tr. Casavant Brief Synopsis: Tr. Casavant charged a 35-year-old New York man with criminal speed and operating after suspension. The subject passed Tr. Casavant in his unmarked cruiser while he was northbound on I-95 in Carmel at 108 MPH. The driver is currently working on getting his license back and making arrangements to get his vehicle back to New York.

Incident Type: LITTERING Date: 10/27/2016 Town: Mars Hill Trooper: Sgt. Clark Brief Synopsis: Sgt. Clark issued a summons to a 49-year-old Mars Hill man after he littered in a public park. Troopers have been dealing with this same man on an almost daily basis due to him drinking beer in public, urinating in public, and throwing his litter on the ground and he has been summonsed and arrested multiple times for drinking in public, violations of bail and littering.

Incident Type: OAS Date: 10/28/2016 Town: Hodgdon Trooper: Tr. Bell Brief Synopsis: Tr. Bell stopped a dump truck after observing the male operator who was known to be suspended. The operator was summoned for OAS. Less than an hour later Tr. Bell ran the plate and registered owner of a separate vehicle and discovered that the female operator was also suspended. The female was stopped and summoned for OAS-infraction.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 10/29/2016 Town: Littleton Trooper: Tr. Adams, Tr. Endre Brief Synopsis: Tr. Adams located and arrested a male for a warrant in Littleton. The male told Tr. Adams that he was on bail and that he had used Meth as well as smoked marijuana two day prior which would be a violation of his bail conditions. Tr. Adams arrested the male and transported him to the Aroostook County Jail. At the ACJ the male took a urine test, to which he tested preliminary positive for Methamphetamine, Oxycodone, Benzodiazepines, and Marijuana. The male was also charged with Violations of Conditions of Release as well as the warrant,

Incident Type: Warrant Date: 10/29/2016 Town: Linneus Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins arrested a 26-year-old Linneus man on a warrant after he failed to appear in court for failure to register vehicle and displaying false registration. The man was placed under arrest and taken to the Troop F barracks where he bailed and received a new court date.

Incident Type: ACCIDENT Date: 10/29/2016 Town: Frenchville Trooper: Tr. Curtin Brief Synopsis: On 10-29-16 at approximately 0300 Hours, State Police responded to a crash on Pelletier Avenue in Frenchville. An individual reported that a crash had occurred, and the vehicle was on its roof in a ditch. Trooper Curtin responded to the scene. The initial investigation revealed that a juvenile, male operator had been traveling north on Pelletier Avenue in Frenchville when he lost control of his vehicle and then left the roadway. The vehicle went into a ditch, and rolled over. The Dodge pickup ultimately came to a rest on its roof, on an embankment. Both the operator and passenger were able to get out of the vehicle after the crash. They were transported to Northern Maine Medical Center by Madawaska Ambulance and treated for minor injuries. Speed and alcohol were both factors in the crash. Tr. Curtin was assisted at the scene by the Madawaska Police, and Fire Departments. The investigation is active and ongoing. PHOTO HERE

Incident Type: ACCIDENT Date: 10/29/2016 Town: St Agatha Trooper: Tr. Curtin and Cpl. Michaud Brief Synopsis: At approximately 11:36 PM Tr. Curtin was called to assist Madawaska PD with a crash on the Cleveland Rd where one person was injured and four subjects reportedly fled the scene. The crash was later determined to be in St. Agatha so Tr. Curtin completed the investigation. 23-year-old Joshua Daigle of Sinclair was located at the scene and claimed he was not driving and the operator and other fled. The 2003 Chevy truck, registered to Daigle, left the roadway striking a telephone pole. Daigle suffered minor injuries in the crash. The crash investigation is ongoing. Madawaska PD and Aroostook SO assisted with the investigation. PHOTO HERE

Incident Type: ACCIDENT Date: 10/29/2016 Town: Hodgdon Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins issued a criminal summons to a 34-year-old Hodgdon woman after she crashed her vehicle and left the scene without reporting the crash. Tr. Kilcollins was able to locate the woman and interviewed her about the crash. The woman claimed she swerved to avoid a deer but the evidence and tire marks and the scene do not support her claim.

Incident Type: WARRANT Date: 10/29/2016 Town: Linneus Trooper: Tr. Kilcollins Brief Synopsis: Tr. Kilcollins located and arrested a 26-year-old Linneus man that had an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court. The man was taken to the Aroostook County Jail until he could either appear before a judge or post bail.
