
Maine Native Frank Del Duca Heads Back to the Olympics
Big shout out to Bethel, Maine, they are sending one of its finest down the ice once again! Yes, again!
Get this, according to WMTW, Sgt. Frank Del Duca, a United States Army soldier and proud Mainer, has officially earned a spot on Team USA’s 4-man bobsled team!
He will be joining the team for the upcoming Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina, Italy this February.
A Proud Mainer Takes Aim at Olympic Gold
And yes, this is his second Olympics.
He recently shared with his followers on Facebook the news of him officially joining the team.
According to the article, he also competed in Beijing in 2022, tying for 13th place.
Talk about putting Maine on the official Olympic map! But listen this guy isn't new to this fast-paced action, he and his teammates have been dominating the ice, playing 4th recently at the 2025 World Bobsled Championships in Lake Placid!
It all kicks off February 18, with the "heats" following on February 21, so make sure to watch.
Frank clearly has his sights set on the win, and he recently sat down with News Center Maine to talk about the journey.
