July 4th Festivities in and Near Presque Isle
With the 4th of July fast approaching here's a list of what's happening in Aroostook County.

Midnight Madness: July 3rd
Downtown HoultonFun for the whole family. Ted & the boys will be performing in Market Square. And there will be fireworks at 8:30pm near the walking bridge!

Presque Isle: July 4th
- When: 11:00am
- Where: Riverside Park
Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., together with drinks, a variety of chips, ice cream, cotton candy, and shaved ice, all free of charge to the entire public.
Games and contests for children, with prizes for all, will be conducted.
There will also be bounce houses for children under 11. A dunking booth will afford picnic goers an opportunity to demonstrate their throwing skills.
A variety of musicians, including Wendell Hudson, Peter Parker, James “Sheldon” Wright, Leland Clark and many others will be playing in the gazebo at the park for picnickers who wish to relax and enjoy the sounds of the day.
Boat rides on the Presque Isle Stream will also be available, provided the water level of the stream is adequate.
Riverside Drive will be closed for the Elks annual car show, which is a part of the community celebration. Parking for the event will be available
All activities are without charge.

Limestone: July 4th
- When: 9:00pm (rain date 7/5)
- Where: Grand Falls Road
- Limestone 4th of July Calendar
Limestone will have a parade at 1:00pm on Main Street with nearly 100 entries! After the parade, downtown Limestone will start hopping with tunes, food and a beer garden. Laser tag and bouncy houses will be available to keep the kids busy. Elsewhere in Limestone during the day, there will be golf tournaments, antique farm equipment shows, community-wide yard sales, a puppet show, teddy bear picnic and scavenger hunt.

Houlton: July 4th

- Where: Houlton Community Park Fairgrounds
- Houlton 4th of July Calendar
Houlton's Agricultural Fair takes place during the 4th of July holiday at the Houlton Community Park. Their parade starts at 10:00am at the intersection of Main, Military, Station, and Willard Streets. At the fairgrounds there will be games for the kids, rides, livestock shows, 4H shows, horse shows, demolition derby, truck pulls, mud runs, and antique tractor pulls.
