Northern Maine Community College is hosting its annual job fair on Thursday, March 21, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the College gym.

The job fair gives the public a chance  to meet with employment representatives from over 75 businesses, organizations, and government entities from throughout The County and Maine ‑ all under one roof.

Ruth White, regional director of the EMBARK program, a high-school-to-college transition program designed for high school students who are unsure about what comes next, says this year's job fair is the largest one the college has hosted to date.

The NMCC Job Fair brings together a wide range of employers who are looking for skilled nurses, electricians, truck drivers, construction, heavy equipment operators, accountants, manager trainees, healthcare providers plus many more.

Besides Northern Maine Community College, there will be representatives from , Husson University and the University of Maine at Presque Isle to encourage attendees to continue their education.

Job seekers should bring a resume with them and be prepared for an interview to take place upon an employer’s request.
