The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office needs your help.
To say that we live in a tense political climate would be an understatement, especially in an election year, but three people in Dixmont took things to the next level last night.
They are investigating a criminal mischief complaint that involves damage to personal property and a political sign.
The video captured the incident on Hog Hill Road in Dixmont, where a man and woman tore down a Kamala Harris-Tim Walz sign, using a chain and a truck.
The sign was boarded to a tree, and in the footage, the pair can be seen sitting in the rear of a pickup, as the driver backs up. They then attach the chain as the vehicle pulls forward.
If you have information about this incident or the individuals involved, the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office would like to hear from you.
