State Police say 36-year old Grady Anderson of Houlton lost control of his 2001 Buick, which skidded off the road, went into a ditch, vaulted into the air and rolled over.  Anderson was ejected from the car and sustained a leg and an apparent head injury.  He was transported by ambulance to Houlton Regional Hospital and later transferred to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

A passenger in Anderson’s car, 28 year old Tyler McCluskey sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken by ambulance to the Houlton Regional Hospital.

The vehicle was considered a total loss. According to a press release from Maine State Police Sgt. Brian L. Harris, both airbags deployed and Anderson was not wearing a seatbelt.  The investigation is continuing.
