Hartland Girl Killed in Crash, Two Others Seriously Injured
A 16-year-old girl has died and two others were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Hartland late Saturday night.
West District RCMP responded to the Rockland Road at approximately 11:00 p.m. after a car went off the road and struck a power pole.
Two of the three occupants were thrown from the vehicle, including a 16-year-old Hartland girl, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Corporal Pierre Ayotte.
A 14-year-old girl from East Brighton, New Brunswick was also ejected from the car. The girl and a 23-year-old woman from Jacksonville were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The RCMP is investigating the cause of the accident.
