New Hampshire’s Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions Intro Location Finally Leaked
Well, I for one can finally rest easy.
The world has finally found the location of the Happy Madison Productions intro shot.
If you have no idea what I am talking about, here are the quick SparkNotes:
Adam Sandler, a native of New Hampshire and big-time actor, started his own entertainment company: Happy Madison Productions.
Pretty much every iconic Adam Sandler movie starts the same way, with the iconic intro shot that looks like this:
"Terrific"
And what is terrific is that some internet golf sleuths found where this shot was filmed.
It turns out this is at a real golf course... and a real hole!
According to the Facebook group Film Locations - Then and Now, the gorgeous background is on the 14th hole at Ocean Course at Hōkūala (Hawaii). This is verified only by comparing images here.
The entire golf course is stunning, and for die-hard golfers or Adam Sandler fans, you might want to try and recreate this intro yourself.... but you'll have to pay.
The price per player at this iconic film location, and pristine golf course, is between $300 and $699 (depending on what kind of round, multiple rounds, club rentals, etc).
But playing here just might be worth it as the course earned an MSN Travel nod as one of the world’s 12 most beautiful courses, according to the website.
Even though I will not be shelling out hundreds of dollars to play here (although I might), I am happy to know that every time I see that "Happy Madison Productions" intro I know where it was filmed!
