George H.W. Bush Shaves Head in Support of Young Leukemia Patient
Almost 60 years ago Former President George H.W. Bush lost his third child to leukemia. To show his support of a young boy currently undergoing treatment for leukemia, our 41st president made a trip to the barber to shave his head.
2-year-old Patrick, the son of a Secret Service agent is undergoing treatment for leukemia and is losing his hair as a result. When the 89-year-old former president saw members of his Secret Service detail with newly shaved heads to show support for Patrick, he did the same.
Mr. Bush revealed his new look this week at his summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
