Whether it be riding your snowmobile on the beautifully groomed trails or attending one of many snowmobile events from around the area. If you’re looking for something to do on a winter day, you’re never going to be bored! There is always something going on! I’ve come up with a list of upcoming snowmobile events that are going to be taking place in the coming days.

  • The Portage Lakers Snowmobile Club will have supper on the run- twilight poker run on Saturday, February 2, 2013 starting at 6pm. For more information contact Beth Hummel at 207-435-2327.

  • The 13 Annual Sno-Cross Races will take place on Saturday and Sunday, February 2nd and 3rd, 2013. The event will be put on by the Lincoln Snowhounds Snowmobile Club at their clubhouse on Town Farm Road off Route 2, Lincoln. Races begin 11a.m. daily. Race registration 8am - 10am daily. Lunch available both days at the clubhouse. $4000 Pro Purse. Cash prizes and trophies for Pro Division winners. Trophies for amateur division winners. • The 9th Annual Andy Santerre SNO-RUN Charity Event will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and money for AMHC’s sexual assault services for children and youth victims in Aroostook County.  Hosted by AMHC and Andy Santerre Motorsports-ASM, the event will kick-off with a 100 mile snowmobile run led by 4-Time Busch East Champion, ASM owner and event leader, Andy Santerre. There are two new exciting additions to this year’s traditional event--one is a 5K SNO-RUN-Walk  through Caribou and the other is a “Vintage SNO-RUN” – a 30 mile round trip “Vintage” snowmobile ride starting alongside the traditional SNO-RUN ride.

  • Molunkus Valley Sno-Drifters Annual Poker Run will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 9am to 3pm at the clubhouse located at 58 North Street in Sherman. All hands must be back in by 3pm and the winners will be announced at 4pm. There will be a public supper starting at 5pm with chili, chicken stew, roll, drink and dessert for a cost of $7.00.

  • Madawaska 100 USCC East Cross Country Races will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 - 1 mile from downtown Madawaska on the Albert Farms Flats. Sled and vehicle parking on location. Full service venue.
