Float Plane Crashes in New Brunswick
A small plane crashed in the Kennebecasis River on Monday.
On Monday, August 1, the RCMP responded to a report that a float plane had crashed into the Kennebecasis River, just west of the Kingston Penninsula Ferry in Quispamsis, N.B. at approximately 5:15 p.m..
Emergency responders from several agencies attended. The lone occupant of the plane, a 51-year-old man from Rothesay, was transported to the Saint John Regional Hospital for medical attention, but was not seriously injured.The RCMP is working with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. Anyone who may have witnessed the plane go down is asked to contact the RCMP at 506-832-5566.
