Color Run to be Held in Fort Kent in September

You've probably seen pictures of athletes splattered with color, flooding your Facebook feed. Or, maybe you have even been a part of the fun! Well, fitness, fun, and color are coming to Fort Kent in September.

People of all ages are invited to participate in Color ME, a color run that will be held in the St. John Valley on Saturday, September 20th.

Color ME will start at 1 p.m. in Fort Kent at Riverside Park at the Lion’s Club Pavilion.  Participants will walk or run over the Fish River bridge, past University of Maine at Fork Kent on Pleasant Street, across the upper Fish River Bridge on Bridge Street, back on Market Street and finishing at Riverside Park.

Stations of color will be along this route, where different colors will be disseminated. The Color ME distance is 3.1 miles and is open to all ages. Color ME will conclude with a huge release of color for all participants.

Event registration must be completed online by Friday, September 12th. Registration closes after that date, and there will be no event-day registration. The cost is $30 for individuals.
