Closings and Delays for Friday, February 8th

Freezing rain has led to some slick roads this morning  across northern Maine and western New Brunswick. Here is a list of closings and delays for Friday, February 8th:

RSU 29 (Houlton area schools) – Delayed 2 hours, No morning pre-k.

Greater Houlton Christian Academy – Delayed 2 hours

SAD 70 (Hodgdon area) – Delayed 2 hours

RSU 89 (Sherman, Patten, Staceyville, Katahdin schools) – Delayed 2 hours

RSU 50 - Southern Aroostook Community Schools – Delayed 2 hours

Region 2 School of Applied Technology – Delayed 2 hours

The Houlton Higher Education Center will have a two-hour delay today.

MSAD 24 (Van Buren schools)  Classes will begin at 10 a.m. today.  There is no morning Pre-K class.

All Schools in Anglophone West School District (N.B.) are closed today due to poor weather and road conditions.

Classes at NBCC Woodstock have been cancelled Friday due to poor weather and road conditions.

CCNB campus of Edmundston will be closed all day. (Including the Grand Falls site)

Autism Intervention Services in Fredericton and Woodstock areas will be closed for the morning and will open at noon for the afternoon services.

All Aroostook County Government Administrative Offices will delay opening for 2 hours this morning.
