Who could have predicted that two goals from Riley Nash and bigtime stops by backup goalie Anton Khudobin would be the keys to stopping the Boston Bruins four game losing skid.

A 2-1 Saturday night win over the New York Islanders gives the B's new life as the playoff push gets down to just a handful of games.

Nash had five goals in 73 games before lighting the lamp twice against the Isles.

Khudobin stopped 18 shots as he replaced Tuukka Rask in net.

So the Bruins improve to 39-30-6 with seven games remaining in the regular season.

Toronto lost Saturday and that leaves the Bruins one point behind the Leafs for the third spot in the Atlantic Division. The B's own the final wildcard playoff, leading the Isles by two points.

It's going down to the wire again.
