On July 14, 2015, a team that included a person who is a paraplegic did what many thought was impossible: reached the summit of Mt. Katahdin. This was part of a multi-day expedition. But the team members’ journey began much earlier. Many had worked on their shared vision for more than a year.

Their goal was not so much to reach the top as to show with a very concrete mountain that challenge is an opportunity, that it’s all about the journey and that there’s no such thing as “CAN’T.”

Please join members of the team on Wednesday, September 30, 7 p.m., in the University of Maine at Presque Isle Multipurpose Room, as they debut a documentary about the climb, share photos and memories, and reflect on their experiences.

This event is free and open to everyone.
