Bathurst Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision
The RCMP is investigating a collision in Bathurst Friday that claimed the life of a 53-year-old Bathurst woman.

Police say the woman was driving on Highway 11 around 9:30 a.m. when her vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with an on-coming vehicle. The woman, who was the only one in the vehicle, passed away at the scene, according to Sgt. Benoit Jolette of the Bathurst RCMP.
Ambulance NB and Bathurst Fire Department also responded to the crash between King Avenue and St. Anne Street. Two people in the other vehicle were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Highway 11 was closed for several hours Friday. RCMP say the collision is under investigation.
