With lots of snow on the ground in recent days, trail conditions are improving here in Aroostook County.

Here is the Aroostook County Snowmobile Trail Report for January 28th, 2015, from the desk of Gary Marquis with the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department.

This should be the real reason why we do what we do every year on the trails so these guys can enjoy the activities with their parents. When the mini 120’s got on the line for their race it gave me goose pumps, because they did not care if they won they were just happy to be involved. That should be the real reason why we get involved in this sport.

Well the trails will be in much better shape with this new snow that we received on Tuesday and now some more on Friday, with the cold temps predicted for the beginning of February we should be in good conditions for weeks to come.
If you know anyone who lives downstate tell them to come up because the trails are in A 1 shape.
