Three people charged with kidnapping and assaulting a man in Caribou are among 26 people listed in the indictments handed down this month by the Aroostook County Grand Jury.


James Sam of Caribou, Bobby Nightingale of Presque Isle and Morgann Towle of Fort Fairfield were all indicted in connection with the violent incident on August 15.

Six other indictments also involved aggravated assault cases in the County. Other accusations stemmed from recent burglary, theft, criminal threatening, domestic violence and OUI arrests, according to information provided on Wednesday by District Attorney Todd R. Collins.
