A Man and 4 Juveniles Robbed and Assaulted 13-Year-Old in Maine
A 23-year-old man and four juveniles were arrested for robbery and assaulting a 13-year-old boy with a weapon in Wilton.
One Man and Four Juveniles Arrested for “Serious Crimes”
The Wilton Police Department said eight juveniles and one man committed serious crimes against a 13-year-old boy at a residence in the Wilton Mobile Home Park on August 17.
13-Year-Old Assaulted with Weapon
The 13-year-old was “assaulted with a weapon, threatened with a weapon, held inside a camper with no ability to leave, and property was forcibly taken from the victim,” said Wilton Police.
Adult Male and Four Juveniles Taken into Custody
A 23-year-old man, Ty Looney from Farmington, was taken into custody. Four juvenile suspects were also arrested and transported to Long Creek Youth Development Center. The suspects included a 12-year-old from Wilton, a 14-year-old from Wilton, a 15-year-old from Wilton, and a 16-year-old from Farmington.
Juveniles and Adult Face Multiple Charges
Charges include Aggravated Assault, Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon, Robbery, Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer, and Criminal Restraint. Wilton Police said the juveniles have a list of past charges not related to this incident.
23-Year-Old Violated Conditions of Release
Looney received an additional charge of Violation of Condition of Release.
Stolen Property Recovered
A search warrant was executed and the stolen property was recovered.
