‘Feature Faces of Maine’ Casting Call Coming To Presque Isle
Your baby will have an opportunity to get a $500 in grant money this week, right here in Aroostook County. A “Future Faces of Maine” Casting Call will be held Thursday afternoon at the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle.
The $500 Alfond Gant is available to all Maine babies who are under the age of one, when a NextGen College Investing Plan account is opened. At the casting call, those eligible children will receive a free professional portrait and may have their picture appear in future Harold Alfond College Challenge advertising.
There are no income limits and no contributions are required to receive the $500 grant. Staff will be on hand to help with the completion of the required paperwork. You’ll just need to bring your child’s social security number to sign up. The funds in the NextGen account may be used to pay for qualified higher education expenses down the road.
The “Future Faces of Maine” Casting Call will take place from 3pm to 7pm this Thursday, October 25th at the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle. I’ll be there broadcasting live, so come by and check it out.
