The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is holding a naturalization ceremony for 75 people Tuesday afternoon at Portland's Ocean Gateway terminal. The event is part of the agency's annual celebration of Constitution Day and Citizenship Day.

The citizenship candidates come from 30 far-flung countries including Australia, Cambodia, China, India, Kenya, Peru, Somalia, the United Kingdom and Vietnam.

Constitution Day and Citizenship Day is observed each year on Sept. 17 to commemorate the signing of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.
