The ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ Food Drive is the largest one-day food-collection effort in the nation, and has collected more than 1.5 billion pounds of non-perishable food donations.

Here’s a simple way for you to help: just leave a bag of nonperishable food items next to your mailbox on Saturday. Your letter carrier will pick up your donation, which will then be delivered to food pantries in the state.

Joining NALC this year as national food drive partners are the U.S. Postal Service, National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association, United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, United Way Worldwide, AFL-CIO, AARP Foundation, Valpak and Valassis.
