18-Year-Old Charged with Stabbing & Shootings at a Party in Maine
An 18-year-old man was arrested Saturday morning and charged with shooting two people and stabbing a third person at a party in Auburn.
Three Seriously Injured after Shootings & Stabbing
The Auburn Police Department said Chase Smith was taken into custody around 3:20 am at 45 Smith Street.
One Person Stabbed and Two Shot
Two men and one male juvenile were seriously wounded. Chase was charged with stabbing one person before firing on the other two. All three were taken to Central Maine Medical Center.
Fight Broke Out at Party
Auburn PD said “the group had been partying at the Smith Street residence throughout the evening when an altercation began.”
Elevated Aggravated Assault Charges
Snow was charged with multiple counts of Aggravated Assault, Elevated Aggravated Assault, Reckless Conduct and Aggravated Reckless Conduct. He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail.
Furnishing a Place for Minors to Consume Alcohol
Police also charged 57-year-old Wendy Day and 19-year-old Daniel Day and for Furnishing a Place for Minors to Consume Alcohol.
