A 17-year-old male died Tuesday after a crash on his moped with a truck on Civic Center Drive in Augusta.
17-Year-Old Died after Moped and Truck Crash
The Augusta Police Department said the crash happened around 3:15 pm near the Rusty Lantern.
Truck Hit Moped Making a Turn
The pickup truck collided with the moped as he was making a left into a parking lot.
Died at Hospital from Injuries
The 17-year-old was transported to the hospital and died from his injuries. The 47-year-old truck driver from Farmingdale was not injured.
Ongoing Crash Investigation
The crash investigation is ongoing. Names were not released.
