Young Thug is disobeying gender rules in the latest Calvin Klein ad; which features the rhymer wearing womenswear.

“I disobey in #mycalvins,” reads the slogan for the advertisement next to a photo of Thugger in a black-and-white pinstripe dress with matching pants.

In an accompanying ad, Thugger relayed that he "don’t feel like there’s no such thing as gender.” The 24-year-old also said that what you wear doesn't change your credibility. “You can be a gangsta in a dress or you can be a gangsta in baggy pants.”

However, many tweeters aren't feeling the same nor digging the look. "Young thug modeling women's Calvin Klein smh wtf is the world coming to man. That's yall boy though smh," read one disapproving tweet. "Young thug is the official model for Calvin Klein women's 2016 wear. Congratulations hip hop just took another L," read another.

It's almost like it's the 20th century when women wearing pants was a hot button issue. This time it's the opposite. Jaden Smith, who is also known for wearing "womenswear" spoke about his reasons for it in Nylon.

“The world is going to keep bashing me for whatever I do, and I’m going to keep not caring. I’m going to keep doing the same things—I’m going to keep doing more things. I’m going to take most of the blows for my fellow MSFTS,” the 17-year-old told the fashion magazine. “So, you know, in five years when a kid goes to school wearing a skirt, he won’t get beat up and kids won’t get mad at him. It just doesn’t matter. I’m taking the brunt of it so that later on, my kids and the next generations of kids will all think that certain things are normal that weren’t expected before my time.”
