Woman, Three Sons Dead in Fire in St. George, N.B.

The community of St. George, New Brunswick is grieving after an elderly woman and her three adult sons were killed in a house fire Tuesday afternoon.

The RCMP and the provincial fire marshal are investigating after the bodies of three men and a woman were discovered following a fire on South Street in St. George. The fire was reported around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, according to RCMP spokesman Constable Hans Ouellette.

The coroner’s office was also on scene. Police are not releasing the identities of the victims until family members can be notified. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
