Woman Seriously Injured in ATV Hit-and-Run in Western N.B.
Grand Falls RCMP say a hit-and-run collision Sunday evening involving a four-wheeler seriously injured a female pedestrian in Four Falls, New Brunswick.
The young woman was reported to be walking along a bridge on the Brown Road at around 7:30 when she was struck. She was taken to Edmundston Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
RCMP say the male driver of the all-terrain vehicle fled the scene following the collision, driving south on the Brown Road toward the U.S. border
Witnesses have described the ATV as a blue Yamaha four-wheeler. The driver was shirtless and was wearing sunglasses and a hat. The RCMP is asking anyone who may have information about the driver and/or the four wheeler to contact them at 1-888-506-7267,
