Wintergreen Arts Center recently received a $1,000.00 Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant.  The grant was made possible through the community service of local Allstate Agent Chad Brewer.

Brewer volunteers as a Conductor for the Center’s very popular annual Wintergreen Express holiday event in December.

“Thank you to Allstate volunteer Chad Brewer for being a positive force for change in our community by volunteering with us,” said Kim Guerrette Michaud, chairman of Wintergreen’s Board of Directors.  “We appreciate Chad’s efforts that enabled us to receive an Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant.  Chad helps make the Wintergreen Express, our largest holiday event, a truly magical experience for local children and their families.”

This grant is the second Allstate Foundation Helping Hands Grant Wintergreen has received in less than a year.

“We are a Wintergreen family,” said Brewer, who lives in Presque Isle with his wife Lisa and their two daughters.  “I know how important volunteers are in achieving the Center’s mission to encourage creativity and the arts in Aroostook County.  So, it is great to see Wintergreen’s programs directly benefit from this Helping Hands Grant.”

The Allstate Foundation supports the causes that Allstate agency owners, financial specialists and employees care about most by providing Helping Hands Grants to nonprofits where they volunteer their time to bring out the good in their communities.
