It looks like some winter weather is on it's way to Aroostook County and Western New Brunswick Saturday night in to Sunday, as a low pressure system makes it way over the area bringing a wintery mix with it.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 10 p.m. Saturday through 5 p.m. Sunday for all of Aroostook County and parts of Western New Brunswick.

Officials with the National Weather Service Office in Caribou say that snow will change to sleet and freezing rain. Snow accumulations will range from 4 to 8 inches across the area, along with up to a tenth of an inch of ice.

Temperature will be in the single digits Saturday evening, then rising into the upper 20s and lower 30s on Sunday.

Please plan accordingly in you're going to be out and about on the roadways.
