Winter Preparation Updates for Houlton, Maine

Houlton Chief of Police Tim DeLuca & Public Works Director Chris Stewart offer a reminder and a public advisory for winter parking, snow removal and maintenance.

The instructions say in part:

From November 1st of each year to April 1st of the following year, it is unlawful to park any motor vehicle on any street or public way and on any municipally owned property within the town between the hours of 12 am and 6 am.

Please don’t plow or place snow on a public way to include streets, sidewalks and fire hydrants during snow removal operations.
