Imagine you're driving along a quaint New Hampshire town, taking in the foliage and the charm of it all, and you round the corner to find a massive Cold War era rocket standing tall in the middle of town. If you're in Warren, New Hampshire then you're in the only town with a real Redstone Rocket.

According to a contributor on RoadsideAmerica.com: "It was very strange because everything in the town was falling apart exept for this clean freshly painted real military missile."

The rocket was donated to the town in 1971 and installed as a tribute to Alan Shepard, the first American in space, who was born in nearby Derry, New Hampshire. A rocket of this style was used to propel Alan into space.
