Former Westbrook HS and UMaine defensive lineman Trevor Bates has made it through the Indianapolis Colts cut to 75 players. There is a cut to 53 players coming this weekend.

Bates. who is playing linebacker, was drafted by the Colts in the 7th round back in April. He has three tackles in the first three preseason games.

The Colts play their final exhibition game vs the Bengals tomorrow night.

Former UMaine tight end Justin Perillo also survived the cut to 75 with the Green Bay Packers.

The Detriot Lions did release TE Matt Mulligan and the SD Chargers released C Bruce Johnson.
