Washburn's Carsyn Koch is already the NCAA Division II Indoor 800M national champion and now she's going for the NCAA Outdoor 800M title today in Florida.

Koch competes for Cedarville University in Ohio. She is seeded #1 among 24 runners with a seed time of 2:02.39. The 800M final is tonight at 7:05pm

In Friday night prelims(see below) Koch ran a qualifying time of 2:09.86, good for 6th place.

This sophomore year has been something else for Koch. She won the Indoor title back in March, earlier this month Koch scored an olympic team qualifier time of 2:02.39 at meet at Stanford and now the chance to be NCAA Outdoor champ.

Koch won multiple cross country and basketball state championships while at Washburn HS.
