UPDATE: RCMP say a Moncton woman who was wanted in connection with seven recent armed robberies has been arrested.

On Monday, an arrest warrant was issued for 31-year-old Shila LeBlanc. RCMP say she turned herself in at the Codiac detachment at about 7 p.m. that evening.

LeBlanc is charged with seven counts of armed robbery and seven counts of having her face concealed with the intent to commit and indictable offence. She is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on Tuesday, July 26 at 1:30 p.m.

According to police, in each case, the suspect was armed with a weapon. No one was injured. Money and lottery tickets were stolen.
