Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez powered a 97 mph Dellin Betances pitch over everything in left field for a 2-run homer as the Sox won 8-7 Sunday night and finished a weekend sweep of the Yankees.

The Sunday night win put the Sox into first place in the AL East witha 15-10 record.

They haven't been over .500 since 2013.

David Price struggled on the mound all night, allowing six runs but got through seven innings.

Travis Shaw hit a homer to tie the game in the fifth inning. The Vazquez shot was the game winner.

Craig Kimbrel pitched a perfect ninth to get his 8th save.
