UMaine's Molly Flowers tossed her fourth no hitter of the season in a 6-0 win over UMBC Saturday afternoon. She struck out 12 along the way and walked just one.

The Black Bears lost game two of the season ending doubleheader but still get the #2 seed for the upcoming America East Conference Tournament.

UM finished 12-5 in AE play (25-19 overall). That gives the Bears a first round bye in the six team, double elmination tournament that starts Wednesday in Binghamton, NY.

The #2 seed is the highest for Maine since 2009.

UMAINE BASEBALL:  The Black Bears split a doubleheader at UAlbany Saturday afternoon. The Bears lost the first game 7-1 but camea back to win game two 5-2.

Both teams are now 6-10 in AE play. UMaine is now 17-29 overall.

The third and final game of the series is today at noon.
