The University of Maine women's basketball team lost another contest as they fell to the Harvard Crimson by a score of 69-62 on Tuesday night.

The Black Bears had the lead for most of the contest until the waning minutes of the third quarter where Harvard would take the advantage and held on for the victory.

Destiny Nunley led all scorers with 22 points and added six rebounds to help guide Harvard to the win.  The Crimson shot over 47 percent from the floor in the contest.

Maine's leading scorer was Sigi Koizar who had 21 in the contest and had six rebounds, two assists, and two steals.  Blanca Millan and Tanesha Sutton also notched double digit games for the Black Bears.

The Black Bears are now 1-2 on the season and will head to South Carolina on Sunday to face St. Peter's University as part of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame women's challenge.
