UM Hockey Announces 2016-17 Schedule

The University of Maine announced the 2016-17 men’s ice hockey schedule on Friday morning.  The Black Bears will play 20 home games with 17 of them coming at the Alfond Arena.

The Black Bears will start the year off with a match-up with St. Francis Xavier in Orono on October 2^nd and will then host RPI and Quinnipiac in consecutive weekends after at the Alfond.  Maine will play its first conference match-up against Boston College on November 4^th at the Cross Insurance Arena, followed by a second game the next day in Orono.

Other notable games on the schedule include a home and home series with New Hampshire on December 2nd and 3^rd.  The Black Bears will also have out of conference match-ups with Miami (OH) in October and Brown in November.
