The University of Maine baseball team lost the series finale to the Stony Brook Seawolves on Senior Day by a score of 9-0.  Maine was only able to put together three hits in the contest during the rain altered affair.

The Seawolves were able to jump out to an early lead against the Black Bears by scoring three runs in the first two innings of play.  Stony Brook would continue the offensive run with six more runs in the middle innings on way to the win.  While Maine was unable to come up with the win on the diamond, they were able to secure the victory in the impromptu dance-off during one of the rain delays.

Maine with the loss falls to 7-13 in conference play and 18-31 overall.  They will play the Boston College Eagles in an out-of-conference match-up on Tuesday.
