The Edmundston Police Force has charged two people with trafficking following a drug seizure this week in Edmundston.

Police executed a search warrant Tuesday at a residence on Canada Road. A 21-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were arrested in connection with the search. Police say they seized a significant amount of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana.

The two people appeared before a Provincial Court judge in Edmundston on Wednesday to respond to charges of possession of methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
