The UMaine Black Bears scored the first three points of the game and then the Toledo Rockets scored the next 45. This step-up game vs a FBS team did not go well.

The 45-3 loss drops UMaine to 0-2 with a much needed bye week. Toledo is 2-0.

Black Bear kicker Patrick Leonard hit a 29-yard field goal in the first quarter but from that point on, the UMaine offense sputtered.

QB Dan Collins was 9-for-25 and 65 yards. The Bears rushed for 170 yards on 42 carries.

Toledo gained 329 yards through the air and another 191 on the ground.

Rockets QB Logan Woodside was 13-for-25 with four touchdowns.

Attendance was 23, 349. UMaine receives $375,000 for playing this FBS game.
