Police have arrested three men in connection with a cocaine seizure in Shediac, New Brunswick.

Members of the Shediac RCMP conducted a traffic stop Saturday on South Cove Road, near Main Street.  A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of more than 100 grams of crack cocaine, according to Sgt. Paul Ouellette.

Two men from Shediac, aged 39 and 50, and a 42-year-old man from Cap-Pelé were arrested at the scene. They were later released and will appear in court at a later date.

The seizure is part of an ongoing effort by the New Brunswick RCMP to combat the trade of illegal drugs in our communities.
