Maine's largest agricultural fair is also a great place to get some holiday shopping done! After cooing over the litter of piglets, petting a calf and taking pictures of my favorite chickens, I strolled through some of the barns displaying the art and crafts of many talented locals. I bought and bought!  I picked up a wonderful Lily of the Valley candle from Denise and continued to work my way through the barn.

I wish I had thought of this myself! Safety vests for dogs to wear during hunting season, brilliant! This booth had so much great stuff for the dogs of Maine and New Hampshire.
