Maine State Police – Troop F’s weekly incident report…

3/24 - Tr. Levesque received information of a late report accident at a bar in Eagle Lake. During investigation, a potential administrative violation was identified of minors being present in the bar while operating. Investigation is continuing with Liquor Control.

3/24 – Sgt. Fuller and K-9 Gleni were asked to assist HPD with a burglary from a residence. Sgt. Fuller and Gleni tracked from the residence to an apartment building where similar footprints were located. While at the apartment on a porch, one of the doors opened up and a Pit Bull came out and engaged in a dog fight. The dogs were separated and Gleni continued to work with no apparent injuries. Once the track was complete Sgt. Fuller noticed that Gleni had a puncture wound under his ear. Gleni received 3 staples to close the wound.

3/25 & 25 – Tr. Flynn instructed motor vehicle law at the MCJA.

3/25 – Troopers Clark, Ferland and Sgt. Fuller assisted MDEA with the execution of a Search Warrant and bail check in Hodgdon. The bail check resulted in the arrest of the male who was on bail and in violation and the arrest of a female who had warrants for her arrest. The Search Warrant also ended up with an arrest for Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

3/25 – Tr. Quint participated in the motor vehicle practical exercises for the RTT. Teamed up with Recruit Doody, they conducted several stops which included arrests for OAS and an arrest on a warrant.

3/26 - Tr. Flynn stopped for a 10-59 on Route 1 in Connor Twp. and found a male and female in the vehicle arguing and the female crying. The couple agreed to separate and Tr. Flynn followed the couple to a residence where the female was dropped off.

3/26 and again 3/27 - Tr. Marquis responded to a residence in Frenchville for a man with suicidal thoughts. Both times the man went to the hospital voluntarily with EMS or AMHC personnel.

3/27 - Tr. Flynn investigated a theft complaint in Mapleton where a couple is in the process of getting a divorce and the wife took $14,000 from her husband’s retirement account. The case remains under investigation.

3/27 - Tr. Casavant provided instruction at the MCJA as a member of the PACE team.

3/29 - Tr. Levesque responded to Wallagrass for a report of a male subject that was intoxicated and trying to leave a local bar. Upon Tr. Levesque’s arrival, he found the male subject had assaulted another male because patrons were preventing him from leaving. While Tr. Levesque was there, the intoxicated male assaulted the other male a second time. The male was arrested for assault by Tr. Levesque.

3/29 - Tr. Saucier and Tr. Lilley arrested a male subject at Barracks for disorderly conduct. Male had been calling recently to get guns returned but we do not have his guns. Male had been told this information a few days prior but he continued to call the Barracks when intoxicated to demand his guns be returned. On this day, the male came to Barracks intoxicated and belligerent about getting his guns back. Male was told to be quiet and not bother dispatchers until his ride returned and was told once again that we didn’t have his guns. Male continued to be disorderly and was arrested and given conditions to not return to Barracks or call unless having an emergency.

Troop F of the Maine State Police is responsible for Aroostook County and the extreme northern sections of Somerset, Piscataquis and Penobscot counties. In addition, the Troop patrols Interstate 95 from Sherman to the Canadian border in Houlton.
